This notice describes DVINE’s pilot account service and optional Book One availability and book-news emails.

Reading without an account

Chapters 1–3 will be available without registration. Reading display preferences may be saved on your device. We do not use advertising pixels or cross-site profiling.

Book One reader list

You may optionally give us an email address so we can send one notice when the complete Book One is available. Joining the reader list does not create an account or subscription and is not required to read Chapters 1–3. Optional book news and character updates require a separate choice. We retain the address to send the requested notice and to honour any separately chosen updates. You may ask us to delete it at any time through privacy@dvinehigh.com.

Adult-managed accounts

We store the adult’s email address, a protected password hash, email-verification status, required acknowledgements, optional marketing choice, access dates, and saved reading position. We do not request a younger reader’s personal details or a separate profile.

Service emails and optional updates

Verification, password-reset and access notices are essential service messages. Book news and other marketing require a separate optional choice. You can withdraw that choice through your account, an unsubscribe link, or privacy@dvinehigh.com.

Private measurement

When measurement is enabled, DVINE uses limited first-party events to understand which campaigns lead visitors to read and register. Campaign labels describe the event, character and print batch, never the person receiving a card. Downloads do not prove that a chapter was read. Reports are private to authorized administrators.

Storage and retention

Reader data is kept separate from travel customer data. The pilot service is designed to retain accounts and reading progress after Chapter 4 access ends. Hosting, email processors and retention periods must be confirmed before accounts open.

Your choices

Ask about access, correction, consent withdrawal, or account deletion at privacy@dvinehigh.com. We do not sell reader data.
